Imagine you're a superhero, but instead of a cape, you’ve got a stethoscope and some resistance bands. Help them get back to feeling awesome, one move at a time!
- Custom Treatment Plans: No two bodies are the same! You’ll design personalized treatment plans that could involve a mix of stretching, strengthening, and maybe some “magical” modalities (we’re talking ultrasound, heat, ice, you name it). You’ll be the mastermind behind a game plan to help your patient crush their recovery.
- Therapeutic Exercises and Manual Therapy: Whether it’s a knee replacement recovery or a sprained ankle, you’ll lead your patients through exercises and stretches that build strength and flexibility. You might even break out the hands-on techniques, like massage and joint mobilizations, to help your patient move more freely.
- Progress Tracking: It’s all about the gains! You’ll keep track of your patient’s progress, making sure they’re improving and adjusting the treatment plan if needed. You'll be the cheerleader they never knew they needed, celebrating the little wins along the way.
- Patient Coach and Educator: You’re not just about exercise, you’ll also teach your patients the secrets of injury prevention, good posture, and how to move with confidence. They’ll leave your sessions not just feeling better but smarter about taking care of their bodies.
- Team Player: You’re in this with the whole healthcare squad. You’ll be talking with orthopedic doctors, surgeons, and other specialists to make sure your patients are getting the best care possible. Communication is key, and you’ll always have your patient’s back (literally and figuratively!).
- High Fives and High Expectations: Every day is a win when you see your patients getting back to their active lives—whether it’s running, biking, or picking up their grandkids. You’ll celebrate those successes with them and be ready to help them push past any plateaus with a fresh treatment approach.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist required (New grads are encouraged to apply!)
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
