The Facilities Assistant Work Study Student will perform assigned duties related to the operation of the facilities department, and assist the maintenance team, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with completing daily work orders.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down furniture for special events.
- Deliver mail to campus office locations.
- Complete minor landscaping projects, painting, lawn care, and various outdoor projects.
- Be available to receive orders at the facilities shop location.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements to be an authorized driver of a college vehicle.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Move safely up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required Experience: None, but maintenance experience preferred.
