What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Work Study Student position at Ivy Tech Community College?
Work Study positions are federally funded, part-time positions. Most positions are located on-campus but may be located off-campus for students completing internships at non-profit or government agencies. On-campus positions are available for general office and clerical work, maintenance work, and lab assistants.
All positions will require customer service. Some positions may also require clerical, computing, telephone, and filing skills. Each position will have a specific set of responsibilities that will be explained during the interview process.

Work Hours:
Hours will vary based upon assignment and individual class schedule. If eligible, a Work Study student will not work more than 23 hours per week.
Hiring Range:
$15.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Student must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville.
- Student must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
- Student must have a current FAFSA on file.
- Student must have financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
