We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Culinary Lab Tech to support our culinary program by maintaining an efficient and safe kitchen environment for students and staff.
Prepare and organize the culinary lab for classes, including setting up equipment, supplies and food carts.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the lab, equipment, and workstations in
compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor and inventory supplies, including ingredients, tools, and small wares; assist with ordering as needed.
Support instructors by shopping for needed ingredients.
Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use; report repairs or replacements as needed.
Adhere to and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with special events or additional duties as assigned.
Maintain all receipts and invoices.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies (up to 50 lbs).
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of a dynamic learning environment.
