Serve as a student assistant for the Campus Activities Board:
Greeting students, answering their questions about Student Life
Work with the Director of Student Life to help plan and execute events for the Office of Student Life.

Including, but not limited to:
Brainstorming event ideas, contacting acts, creating publicity, set up/tear down, attendance tracking, etc. Assists in keeping Student Life storage and equipment clean and organized. Provides information to visitors and assists in locating appropriate persons and departments when needed. Keeping bulletin boards updated. Working at tables at events to market program and services. Assisting in developing new project ideas. Completing special projects as assigned. Preforms other related duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices.

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
Must be able to prioritize work and complete projects in a timely fashion.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other.
Software skills are required.

Must be able to respect confidentiality.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Trustworthiness, dependability, and a positive attitude are a must.
Confidentiality is necessary due to the sensitive nature of data handled.
Typing skills, writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, etc.) are required.
