Ivybrook Academy, a Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired preschool, seeks a highly qualified, dedicated and passionate admissions specialist for our premier preschool, located in Tampa Palms, FL. In this extremely rewarding position, you will assume ultimate responsibility for creating and maintaining an educational, loving and nurturing environment for our families and educators.
Ivybrook Academy, a Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired preschool welcomes students from 18 months through five years of age. School hours are from 7:30 am—4:30 pm. Our private, part day preschool program operates for a ten-month school year beginning in August and ending in June. During the summer months we offer a Summer Camp Program for students ages two-six.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a clear commitment to the highest of standards in early childhood education, a Florida Director Credential, as well as VPK Director Credential. We are seeking an admission specialist who has demonstrated the essential skills required in establishing effective relationships with our educators, our parents and most importantly our students. She or he must have a sense of humor, an undeniable passion for young children and understand the flexibility needed in a school setting!This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Some Key Areas of Responsibility
Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting and oversee programs and activities to engage and educate young children.
- Track and maintain enrollment / enrollment inquiries.
- Work in tandem with administrative team to create and participate in marketing events, campaigns, and community relations.
- Assist prospective families in the enrollment procedures.
- Conduct tours of the campus for prospective families.
- Develop open lines of communication with educators, parents, and students—and conduct one-on-one meetings with parents to discuss each child's progress.
- Assisting in building and supporting a qualified team of early childhood educators to continually enhance our superior reputation in early-childhood education.
- Classroom management support.

Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
Experience in an Administrative / Director role. Director Credential (Required), VPK Director Credential (Required). Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and power point
