Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students by meeting each student where they are and helping them to grow to their highest potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to out Montessori/Reggio combined curriculum.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Assess and document children's progress in areas including educational and social .
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Address individual needs of children, including those requiring special education support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered teaching approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment

Pay: $17,500.00 - $35,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
