Major Responsibilities :
Communicate financial aid information and opportunities available to students and prospective students at the College.
Advise students (both on and off campus) on the financial aid process and assist with the completion of forms.
Coordinate Federal Work Study program.
Perform verification of financial aid files.
Develop and implement financial aid workshops.
Be proficient in Banner Software.
Determine financial aid eligibility and package aid.
Monitor and enforce Standards of Progress.
Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Maintain student financial aid files.
Process financial aid information forms for external agencies.
Counsel students on the loan process.

Minimum Qualifications :
Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with financial aid information systems preferred.
