A Preschool Teacher ensures a secure and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities include devising creative and instructive activities, preparing and serving snacks, and maintaining a clean space for the children.
Responsibilities
Preschool Teachers are entrusted with the children's welfare. They supervise the children throughout the day to guarantee safe and proper interaction. Their core duties involve:
- Maintaining children's hygiene and changing diapers when needed
- Sanitizing play areas regularly
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Planning activities and formulating curricula for older children
- Establishing a daily routine for the children
- Documenting each child's development, interests, and any issues that arise
- Keeping in touch with parents and reaching out in emergencies
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of childcare experience
- CDA, TCC Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Care (preferred)
