About the company :

Iwasaki Bros., Inc. Greenhouse produces and distributes bedding plants (annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, ornamental grasses, hanging baskets and planters) to chain garden centers in OR, WA, and ID. We are located in Hillsboro, OR.

CDL Drivers :

We are looking for Class A or B drivers who are able to work flexible hours from March 2025 through July 2025. This is a seasonal position with opportunities for year around employment.

During peak season, drivers may work long hours but home most nights, possible overnight stay.

Our CDL delivery trucks are leased every five years this helps with keeping our fleets up-to-date, (we keep up with new technology and deliver more efficiently).

Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Compensation :

Class A rate : $27 to $29 an hour
Class B rate : $24 to $26 an hour

Meal per Diem

Job Summary :

The Driver is responsible for delivering plants, greenery, and sales assets in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Operate vehicles and all equipment in a safe and professional manner.

This position has direct contact with Iwasaki Bros. Inc.’s all customers. Able to represent the company professionally with customers. Communicate with store personnel and team members in a professional manner. Have good team skills.

Unloading and stocking delivered materials. Merchandise plants from our delivery racks to retail displays.

Conduct pre and post-trip inspections. Verify essential paperwork (invoice, rack invoice, notes, etc.) are in the driver trip box and correct product (racks) is loaded in the vehicle.

Maintain electronic log books. Keep them up to date and accurate.

Follow Department of Transportation requirements.

Job Requirements :

Must be 21 years old with a valid Class A or B driver’s license. Must have 6 months behind the wheel CDL driving experience within last 4 years.

Must maintain good driving record.

Ability to drive in OR, WA and ID. Ability to drive in different weather conditions and handle the vehicle in congested areas.

Ability to read road maps or GPS units.

Follow directions and company policies.

Pass pre-placement drug test.

Salary : $24 - $29
