About the Job:
Bedding Plant Merchandiser (Garden Center) - Merchandising territory area Bend, Redmond and Madras, OR
This is a part-time seasonal position from mid-March through mid-June. 8 hour shift on Monday and Fridays.
Mileage reimbursement to driving to the different store accounts.
We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team! You will be servicing plant displays in large retail chain garden centers.
Responsibilities:
- Stocking store shelves
- Assisting delivery drivers with unloading product
- Consolidating plants, and making room for new products delivered by the drivers
- Cleaning plants and displays
- Creating displays of plants in the stores
- Communicating with the assistant sales manager in-store conditions, competition, displays, and inventory levels
- Coordinating with outside sales reps on plant displays and how best to maintain them
Qualifications:
- Preferably have plant knowledge
- Able to physically unload and lift product up to 50lbs
- Must have own reliable vehicle, with own insurance
- Clean driving record
- Computer literate - must list daily activity on spreadsheets
- Good time management skills are a must!
