Overall Summary:
The HR Director requires a passion for enriching the lives of our employees by creating and implementing programs to enhance organizational effectiveness, achievements, and strategic growth. This position will create the infrastructure that will help leaders facilitate the best employee experience possible. They will work collaboratively with leaders at all levels of the organization, HR business partners, internal communications, and recruiting to ensure a high standard for the employee experience is woven through the employment lifecycle at IWCO. This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. They will have hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, KPIs, Engagement, and DEI.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Own the New Hire Experience working with different members of HR and partner teams to lay a strong foundation for company culture within IWCO. Leverage feedback to continuously improve the experience and our efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deploy, manage, and validate the tools meant to measure employee engagement and associated action plans.
- Develop and help implement Lean Manufacturing training programs across the organization to continuously upskill talent.
- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the executive team, to help architect, implement and operationalize DEI strategies.
- Develop talent strategies for differently abled employees and non-English speakers.
- Partner with leaders and HR Business Partners on improving the performance management system including planning, content, and process for delivering the annual performance reviews.
- Lead capability development and career progression of the Operations workforce to ensure they’re reaching their greatest potential. Partner with HRBPs to develop formalized job family career paths and succession planning process standards to nurture talent pipeline.
- Stay informed of trending organizational development initiatives to bring into our organization.
- Support and participate in strategic initiatives advocating for the well-being of all employees.
- Build strong community relationships to enhance our connection with our current and future talent pool.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7-10 years of proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proven human leadership competency and an ability to influence strategic direction.
- Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic to inspire employees in their commitment to our organizational values.
- Technical expertise in areas of training, change leadership, and organizational development.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to plan and make quality decisions in a timely manner.
- A thoughtful communicator with an ability to connect with others through strong verbal/written communication. Effective and approachable communication style to engage others and build credibility and rapport.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work 8 hours consecutively.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
