Job Description
The Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA) position is a developmental role designed to prepare you for a career as a financial advisor. You’ll begin with 6-12 months as a Client Service Associate (CSA) to learn operational and client-facing aspects of the business. During this time, you’ll:
· Master back-office procedures and complete administrative tasks (e.g., updating forms, account openings).
· Shadow our Senior Wealth Advisor to observe and assist in implementing financial strategies.
· Conduct client meetings for administrative items and participate in bi-weekly internal Advisor Meetings.
Licensing requirements include obtaining Series 7, Series 66, and Life/Health Insurance certifications (or equivalents).
CSA Responsibilities:
· Prepare, process, and complete paperwork efficiently.
· Follow up on tasks from client meetings and maintain accurate client files.
· Ensure compliance with established procedures.
· Assist with administrative duties, including greeting clients, answering phones, and participating in clients events.
Advisor Responsibilities:
· Analyze clients’ financial situations and develop customized financial plans.
· Recommend and manage investment portfolios.
· Provide retirement planning, tax efficiency strategies, and risk management guidance.
· Educate clients on financial products, market trends, and best practices.
· Continuously monitor and adjust financial plans to align with client goals.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
