Job Summary
Insert molding, visual inspection and packaging of components, while maintaining company standard quality level.
Responsibilities
- Operate insert molding machines.
- Inspect outgoing product for quality.
- Package outgoing components.
- Identify, record and report defective workmanship.
General Duties
- Consistently meet or exceed all quality requirements.
- Sort product on an "as needed" basis.
- Perform special projects and other duties as necessary.
Work Ethics
- Strict adherence to policies and procedures.
- Set an example for all employees by exhibiting good work habits and wise use of time.
- Monitor housekeeping to assure a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, or sitting for varying periods of time.
- Stooping and bending is required.
- Visual acuity is required.
- Lifting of up to 30 pounds is sometimes required.
- Hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity is required.
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Quality System
- Responsible for following the standards and guidelines of the latest quality.
- System, including maintaining departmental records, participating in internal.
- External audits and following quality procedures on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older.
- Able to work in the United States.
- Previous manufacturing experience (Preferred).
- Should possess excellent skills in written and oral communication.
