What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Setter position at iwis mechatronics Inc.?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set and remove molds from machines as directed and specified in mold set schedule
- Ensure proper set up and utilization of knock outs, core sets, nozzle tips, water lines, die heater, and chiller
- Ensure proper use of mold and machine set up sheet
- Ensure proper transportation and storage location of molds
- Ensure proper utilization of crane, Hi Lo, and mold carts
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair and / or replacement of water lines
- Clean nozzle tips
- Identify usage of nozzle bands, fuses, and clamps
- Maintain and update mold / machine set up sheet as required
Maintain good environmental, health, and safety practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic math skills
- Adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Adequate organizational skills including strong time management skills
- Knowledge of molds, thermolators, chillers and water line set-up
PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following skills:
- Mold setting experience
- Plastic Injection Molding specific experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
