Assistant Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
As a Construction Assistant Project Manager, your role may include:
- Performing estimating and project takeoffs.
- Managing the project bidding process.
- Building, maintaining, and understanding project budgets.
- Navigating RFIs, submittals, and various forms of contracts.
- Preparing and maintaining project schedules.
- Coordinating and attending project meetings.
- Reviewing project drawings and specifications.
- Managing the punch list, change orders, and project close-out processes.
- Handling billing, pay applications, and lien waivers.
- Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, laws, and bonding.
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients.
- Supporting quality control and assurance.
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Assistant Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks.
