About the Role - Highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for locum tenens assignments in New York State with flexible work environment under great leadership. CRNA Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care, including preoperative assessments, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence.
- Administer various anesthesia techniques, such as general, regional, or sedation, tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond appropriately to changes during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.
CRNA Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Active and unrestricted New York State license.
- Credentialed in the State of New York (must have NY State DOH privileges).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing CRNA is preferred; locum tenens experience is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder (required).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
