- Lead and develop a team of asset managers, fostering continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends and legislative changes to inform portfolio strategy.
- Prepare reports and presentations on asset performance and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align asset management goals with company objectives.
- Manage cash flow models and turnaround strategies for underperforming properties.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring data-driven accuracy.
- Understand ownership structures and operating agreements to optimize investor returns.
- Support property management teams in decisions impacting long-term asset value.
- Coordinate financial reviews and site audits to ensure performance alignment.
- Evaluate refinancing, disposition, or alternative uses for properties.
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and investors.
- Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and property transitions.
- Conduct financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and risk assessment.
- Lead special projects as needed.
Director of Real Estate Financial Assets Management Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of comparable experience in asset management experience, preferably in multi-unit real estate.
- 3 years of experience managing a team in a leadership role.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting expertise.
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Strong business judgment, professionalism, and leadership capabilities.
