What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Coordinator position at IWP?
Working under the supervision of the Call Center and Onboarding team supervisor, the Onboarding Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for patients who have been referred to Advanced Wellness Pharmacy (AWP) to educate and enroll them into the multi-dosed medication management services that we provide. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. This role supports the needs of our patients and facilities through a combination of pharmacy technician and customer service duties.
What You’ll Do
- Interact with patients, providers, and facilities via a combination of inbound and outbound calls, fax, and email to facilitate patient enrollment into AWP services.
- Educate callers on AWP services and benefits
- Gather detailed information from callers and input data into internal database.
- Follow-up with patients, doctors, and facilities to ensure prescriptions are received in a timely fashion.
- Pharmacy data entry and medication profile set up.
- Effectively manage work queues
- Work closely with the sales and pharmacy departments to resolve any issues which may prevent new patients’ medications from shipping.
- Take the initiative to go above and beyond to assist our new patients.
- Maintain a current knowledge of related policies and procedures and be comfortable speaking to current changes within the industry, organization, and department.
- Comply with Quality Assurance program to consistently meet the required expectations during each customer interaction.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Massachusetts Registered Pharmacy Technician License
- Certified Pharmacy Technician License preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
- Retail, long-term care or mail order experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team/organization setting.
- Maintain quality of work through effective and accurate documentation
- Ability to adapt effectively to frequent changes.
- Demonstrates computer acumen including Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
