We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Child Care Eligibility Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of our Child Care Program.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with recipients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for determining eligibility for our Child Care Program, initializing and terminating child care, and case managing recipients. You will also be expected to perform data entry, contact recipients to resolve questions or inconsistencies, and review error reports to ensure accuracy.
To be successful in this position, you must have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A high school diploma/GED is required, along with intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You should also be proficient in using office machines, such as copiers, faxes, and scanners.
The ideal candidate will possess accurate and timely data entry skills, with the ability to work with complex databases. You should also be able to utilize internet searches and access web resources effectively.
