Position Overview:

Maü Miami is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our janitorial staff. The Janitorial Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our restaurant facility, ensuring that guests enjoy a pleasant and sanitary environment during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including restrooms, kitchens, and back-of-house spaces.
• Operate the industrial dishwasher.
• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, countertops, and fixtures.
• Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or replenishment needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down tables and chairs for special events or functions.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and organized environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
