What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at Izakaya Sozai?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accommodating special requests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guest
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Build positive relationships with guests to enhance their dining experience
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
