Izumi Rotary and Bar is a new Japanese Conveyor Belt restaurant bringing an innovative dining experience to Springfield. We are seeking An Experienced bartender to join our team. No training provided – applicants must have prior bartending experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Take customer orders, make drink recommendations, and provide excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal liquor laws, including age verification.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including opening and closing duties.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving practices.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally allowed to serve alcohol.
- Prior bartending experience required – this is not a trainee position.
- Knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Illinois Food Handler and BASSET Certification within 7 days of hire.
