This role is responsible for developing and leading a cohesive program-wide control approach in scheduling, finance, contracts, cost management, risk analysis and assessment, operational procedures, program information and document control. This is a senior-level role that will require expertise in CDA policies, processes, and Reimbursement Agreements. This position will be required to work onsite 4 days per week. Badging will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop systems and procedures for control functions at onset of the project to facilitate the project monitoring processes
- Coordinate with clients and Project Leaders on project control documents and program support
- Develop and improve project controls systems
- Recommend improvements in systems, tools and methods of project controls and project management
- Ensure field project/document controls, policies and procedures and reporting systems are fully developed and implemented by designated personnel
- Manage, revise, and maintain status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases and project executions from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, and construction contracts through start-up activities to close-out
- Manage project insurance requirements and certifications of insurance (COI) for vendors
- Track and analyze project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals and forecasts
- Coordinate with senior project management staff to manage overall project cost control efforts
- Produce forecasts of total project costs, annual costs and monthly cash flow costs and provide variance analysis
- Perform other duties as required/directed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent work experience
- Strong cost management and project planning skills
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience developing budgets, cash flows and/or schedules
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work under pressure and communicate effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Evidence of a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Clear analytical approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making abilities
- Experience with Microsoft suite, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- Experience at an airport is a plus

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
