We serve clients all across Northwest Arkansas with a small team that works well together to execute a variety of new construction and remodeling projects. J-ARK Building Professionals is a fast growing company that is focused on providing a high end experience to our customers and producing an exceptional finished product.
POSITION SUMMARY
The “Project Manager” will be a detail-oriented person that plans and leads a variety of construction projects for J-ARK clients. This person will be expected to independently and simultaneously manage 3-4 projects (mix of new construction and remodeling). The position will ultimately manage between $1M - $2M of construction projects annually. Professional and effective client communication regarding project details, budgets, and timelines is a must. The Project Manager will be solely responsible for project budgets and timelines by using our internal crew and preferred subcontractors. This position will use BuilderTrend (construction software ) and various Google software to assist with day to day activities and document progress. This position reports directly to the Company Owner.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create project timelines and scheduling for subcontractors and internal labor
- Proven experience tracking multiple budgets with great detail
- Ability to effectively and professionally explain costs and timelines to clients
- Develop and execute a detailed plan start to end for each project (scope, budget, timeline and resources)
- Detailed eye for regular onsite quality control and labor management
- Work with owner and other team members to create take-offs and detailed project estimates
- Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement daily and weekly internal crew scheduling.
- Accurately record billing cost codes for materials and labor
- Required visits to each jobsite (multiple times per week per site)
- Effectively communicate with subcontractors regarding scope, costs, and timely execution
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Use various required software throughout the construction process
- Communicate with project lead / project manager / office manager
- Assist business owner in hiring new team members
- Professionally communicate with home owners, subs, and team members
- Maintain a safe and clean onsite work environment
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College Degree (Construction Management is Preferred)Experience Managing Multiple Construction Projects

- In-depth knowledge in construction and remodeling processes including order of operations and building code
- Attention to construction details and ability to identify high standards of craftsmanship
- Positive leadership qualities and problem solving skills

- Ability to effectively communicate construction process to homeowners

Job Type: Full-time (In Person)
Pay: Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Performance Incentives: $10,000 - $15,000
