Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory control by stocking and cataloging products
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards.
- Updating inventory count and maintain inventory records to share with management
- Reporting discrepancies in inventory
- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
- Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and can-do mentality
- Hardworking personality, shown leadership qualities and eagerness to improve
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports
- Physical strength and stamina
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
