At J.B. Hunt Transport, we are seeking a skilled CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team as a Yard Jockey.
This role involves overseeing daily operations in the yard, including acting as a spotter and coordinating trailer repairs. You will also be responsible for inventorying trailer equipment and ensuring efficient yard operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a spotter to ensure safe and efficient truck movements within the yard.
- Coordinate trailer repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Inventory trailer equipment and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other drivers and yard staff to maintain a smooth operation.
Benefits of this Role:
- Hourly rate*: $20-$22 per hour for the first 40 hours, $30-$33 per hour after 40 hours.
- Weekly safety and attendance bonus: $2.50 per hour.
- Holiday pay per day: $140.
- Safety training pay per hour: $20.

- Daily home time and majority no-touch freight.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Class A CDL license.
- 3 months of trucking experience.
