Salary
- Base pay rate: $0.44-$0.50 per mile
- Detention pay: $20 - $25 per hour
- Drop and hook pay: $40.00 per stop
- Live load/unload: $65 per stop
- Driver load/unload: $45 per stop
Job Description
This position involves driving an intermodal truck, transporting goods between rail yards and other locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent navigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include:
- Transporting goods between rail yards and other locations
- Loading and unloading cargo at designated stops
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments and deliveries
- Communicating with dispatchers and other team members as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Class A CDL license required
- At least 3 months of trucking experience
- Excellent navigation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
