Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance and Optimization:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of textile production machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment and production processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process optimization strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop and test new methods and technologies.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor production processes to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Work with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain quality control systems.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the plant.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Prepare project budgets, timelines, and reports.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the production and maintenance teams

Requirements Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a textile manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of textile production processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Proven experience in process improvement and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Facility Maintenance/Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in textile manufacturing.
