Roofing/Siding Repair Technician

Job Overview

We are excited to add the newest member to our incredible team. The ideal candidate would be a skilled exterior repair technician, who specializes in performing repairs on roofing and siding systems, handling weather-related damage, and addressing issues like flashing and gutter problems.

Duties

• Review and follow up on work orders, notes, and instructions from the sales and production teams to ensure that all repair needs are accurately addressed
• Complete repairs in accordance with the specifications outlined in work orders
• Perform repairs on roofs and siding, including replacing damaged shingles, siding panels, and fixing leaks
• Repair or replace flashing around chimneys, vents, and valleys to prevent water intrusion
• Address weather-related damage, including sealing leaks and fixing gutter problems
• Handle minor repairs to soffit and fascia as needed
• Work with a variety of roofing and siding materials, including asphalt shingles, rubber roofing/EPDM, vinyl siding and hard-board siding.
• Ensure proper installation techniques for each material to ensure durability and long-lasting results
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the repairs being performed and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance when interacting with clients

Desired Attributes

• Proven experience in performing roofing and siding repairs
• Familiarity with various roofing and siding materials, such as asphalt shingles, rubber roofing/EPDM, vinyl siding, and hard-board siding.
• Ability to follow up on orders from sales and production teams, ensuring that repair work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers
• Relevant certifications in roofing or exterior repairs are a plus (not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
