What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at J-Berd Mechanical Contractors, Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Properly maintain semi-tractors and trailers according to DOT specifications
- Operate commercial vehicles over the road in a safely but timely manner
- Communicate logistics activity and progress with foreman and warehouse manager
- Put away and pull material from warehouse for each delivery
- Evaluate weekly schedules to assure all deliveries can be made within DOT time regulations
- Align semi-tractor maintenance and repairs with logistics coordinator
