Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Boiler Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with boiler systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, thread, and fit pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders.
- Set, pipe, and install both standard and high-efficiency boilers up to 2,000,000 BTUs.
- Perform boiler piping, gas piping, pump installations, control wiring, and boiler start-ups proficiently.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures (e.g., radiators or tanks) using brackets, clamps, or other tools.
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure all installations meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Install, maintain, repair, and inspect boilers and related equipment for optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of field experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; must be insurable for job-related driving.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently.
- Comfortable with stooping, kneeling, or bending regularly.
- Capable of grasping, lifting, handling, carrying, or feeling objects frequently.
- Strong commitment to adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
