Lewis Primary Health Care Center is a federally qualified community health center which exists to provide patient-centered primary health care services to the medically underserved residents of the greater Savannah-Chatham County, Georgia community. The Health Center makes comprehensive primary care, integrated behavioral health care, oral health care, and inpatient respite care services available to all persons, including the homeless and low-income uninsured and underinsured, regardless of ability to pay. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental team. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your main objective will be to examine, diagnose, and treat various dental conditions while ensuring the best possible patient experience. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations and diagnostic tests to determine dental health and needs.
- Develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive dental care, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, and prosthetic dentistry.
- Educate patients on oral health and proper dental care techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict confidentiality policies.
- Collaborate with dental specialists when necessary.
Requirements:
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license.
- Proven experience as a General Dentist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team-working abilities.
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
