Digital Printer Operator
J.C. Schultz Enterprises, Inc. takes great pride in being a world class flag manufacturer. We are currently looking to add new team members to our Digital Print Operators team.
This position is responsible for the operation of digital equipment and post print equipment within the department. Works closely with Lead Digital Printer to meet schedules, attention to details, graphic files, and quality of work performed by department.
Works with members of department to print high quality graphics that will be manufactured into various visual communication products
- Flags, banners, tradeshow displays, and other products
Operational Excellence
- Execute schedules for all orders for the Ink Jet, and other equipment while paying close attention to time sensitive orders. Work with QC Inspectors to reprint product as required in a timely manner
- Prepare files (RIPs) for printing and send them to the printer
- Loads, position and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixture or in loading and
feeding mechanisms of printer/press
- Unload printed rolls [Bins] from print equipment and operate post print equipment
- Closely monitor printer/press equipment to minimize scrap and/or rework
- Assist in the monitoring of inventory levels of raw materials for printer/press
- Aid in the processing of paperwork and preparation of specification sheets with job
orders
- Assist Lead Digital Printer in the preparation
- Set up and run fabric through the wash line
- Start up and understand the operation of loop steamer

- Verify specification sheet, approval, and job order to ensure that they match by using a pantone book and control swatch
- Prepare proof for signing off on new files Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely completion of production schedules
- Perform assigned tasks within the overall workflow that produces a product that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations
- Meet quality standards at all times for all projects and provide recommendations for
improvements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish a strong plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
