Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough utility line locates using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints to identify the location of existing utilities.
- Mark utility lines clearly and accurately on the ground to guide excavation teams.
- Collaborate with construction crews and service technicians to ensure safe digging practices.
- Perform field surveys to gather data on utility placements and conditions.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and backhoes safely when required.
- Maintain accurate records of utility locations and any relevant site conditions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in utility locating or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with cabling, construction site operations, and field service practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand land surveying concepts.

Must be able to Travel Monday - Friday. Travel is typically 2-4 hours away from Bemidji. Daily per diem offered for most projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
