Job Summary:
We are seeking a Researcher, who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and potential projects in the Architecture and Design industry by leveraging various resources such as news articles, contact databases, permit sites, real estate leads, lease expirations, and tenant-in-market lists. You will proactively research and connect with key stakeholders, including developers, property owners, and decision-makers, to explore project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in your designated region to identify potential architecture and design projects through multiple sources, including: News articles and industry publications; Permit sites and real estate listings; Lease expirations and tenant-in-market reports; Databases of large accounts and key contacts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and real estate developments to uncover new opportunities.
- Maintain and update a database of key contacts, accounts, and project leads.
- Establish and nurture relationships with property developers, landlords, brokers, and corporate real estate teams.
- Conduct customer surveys and gather market insights.
- Track construction and design trends to align research efforts with industry shifts.
- Work closely with business development and design teams to provide insights that support proposal development and client outreach.
- Assist in qualifying leads and organizing outreach strategies to maximize conversion.
- Connect with contacts on opportunities and set up introduction meetings
- Develop innovative outreach and engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiarity with Database Tools: Experience using tools like ZoomInfo to gather and analyze data.
- Outbound Sales Experience: Comfortable making outbound phone calls as part of the sales process.
- Involvement in Sales Processes: Experience contributing to business development or lead generation efforts.
- Spreadsheet Expertise: Proficient in using spreadsheets, including formulas, Boolean operations, and advanced functions like data filtering and analysis for sales insights.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Knowledge of architectural and design trends is a plus.
