Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and maintaining various types of flooring surfaces.
- Carry out custodial tasks in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Engage in industrial cleaning processes to ensure safety and cleanliness in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Support porter duties by managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of different flooring types.
- Knowledge of residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
