- Prior CNC lathe experience
- Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Good understanding of machine tool operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometer, etc.
- Positive attitude, motivated and works well with others in team environment
- Follow both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to multitask
- Lift up to 80 lbs.
- Set up machines for daily production
- Run and inspect test piece for accuracy to print
- Maintain continuous machine operation at an acceptable level of production within the department
- Ensure parts produced meet quality standards
- Adjust machine parameters if necessary to achieve continuous production of in tolerance parts
- Move materials to and from machines as necessary
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Work safely while maintaining a clean organized work area
- Work overtime as required
- Perform other duties as required
