Major Responsibilities
Work in a production setting with industrial equipment and conditions including noise, vibrations, chemicals, and temperature variations. Must perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
Major Responsibilities
- Selects, measures, assembles, and sets up machines and tools such as drill bits and milling or cutting tools using precision gauges and instruments.
- Mounts, installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and work piece on machine using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Determines specifications or procedures for tooling set-up, machine operation, work piece dimensions, or numerical control sequences using blueprints, instructions, and machine knowledge.
- Calculates and sets machine controls to position tools, or regulates cutting depth, speed, feed, or coolant flow
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple CNC machines.
- Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance of equipment.
- Recognize and properly use tools, inserts, and work holding.
- Make machine adjustments and tool wear offsets independently.
- Interpret quality requirements and meet tolerance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Prior CNC machining experience or relevant training preferred.
- Proficiency with precision gauges and tools.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand, bend, and reach for long periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
