- Machine Operations: Safely load and unload raw materials into CNC machinery, address machine malfunctions, and follow ISO and safety protocols.
- Machining Tasks: Perform operations such as turning, drilling, and milling to meet part specifications. Take accurate measurements, replace worn tools, and adhere to quality assurance standards.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Use precision gauges to ensure part quality, document findings, and perform unassisted tool wear offsets. Use hand tools for deburring and maintain equipment as needed.
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple CNC machines.
- Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance of equipment.
- Recognize and properly use tools, inserts, and work holding.
- Make machine adjustments and tool wear offsets independently.
- Interpret quality requirements and meet tolerance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Prior CNC machining experience or relevant training preferred.
- Proficiency with precision gauges and tools.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand, bend, and reach for long periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
