Your Responsibilities
- Lead CNC Swiss Operations: Oversee the setup, programming, and operation of CNC Swiss machines to produce high-precision components.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of CNC Swiss operators, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Programming & Setup: Write and modify CNC programs for complex parts, ensuring efficiency and quality. Perform machine setups and adjustments to meet production requirements.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and precision, ensuring that all components meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to improve machining processes, increase efficiency, and reduce downtime.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Ensure that all CNC Swiss machines are properly maintained and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine maintenance, and performance metrics.
- Experience: 5 years of experience operating and programming CNC Swiss machines. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CNC programming, particularly on Swiss-style machines (e.g., Citizen, Star, or Tsugami).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC Swiss machines, tooling, and production processes.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production goals.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both programming and inspection of parts.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and clients.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
