J & E Companies is looking for a skilled Turning Operator to join our team in Shakopee, MN. If you have experience in machining, enjoy working with precision equipment, and want to be part of a dedicated team, this is the opportunity for you!

What You'll Do :

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual turning machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to keep them running smoothly.
  • Monitor machine operations, adjust as needed, and ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to safety standards.

What We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Turning Operator or in a similar machining role.
  • Proficiency with CNC and / or manual turning machines.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, measurements, and machining techniques.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
