The manufacturing operations manager will oversee all manufacturing processes to ensure optimized production for the shift. Entails supervising and directing the technical personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure world class manufacturing of high quality and cost-effective product.

- Ensure manufacturing and production personnel comply with all set health and safety policies.
- Oversee the hiring, training, retention and replacement of operations personnel to ensure a capable workforce for the shift.
- Monitor and supervise the activities of all shift production personnel to ensure effective performance of job duties and assignments.
- Assess employees' work performance and attitude and perform formal reviews as required by policy.
- Coach and counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job skill deficiencies.
- Track and optimize productivity standards to planned metrics and performance targets, ensuring effective compliance to manufacturing production schedules.
- Implement corrective action plans to resolve production performance variances and constraints.
- Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their very best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.
- Identify potential problems and points of workforce friction; working to find solutions in order to maximize performance interactions and efficiencies.
- Strong personal and professional judgment finding best solution to operational dilemmas
- Exceptional organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, while juggling a variety of functions and projects.
- Minimum 5 years' experience of hands on operations management leadership in precision machining and/ or grinding
