Press Brake Operator

Location : Shakopee, MN

Pay : $22 - $29 / hour (Based on Experience)

Shift : 1st Shift - Monday to Thursday (4x10s) with Overtime on Fridays

J&E Companies is a leading precision metal fabrication company in Shakopee, MN, dedicated to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator with setup experience to join our team and help drive production excellence.

Responsibilities :

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
Perform tool changes and machine adjustments for various production runs.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and make necessary corrections.
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness for safety and efficiency.
Work closely with team members to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.

Requirements :

Previous experience in press brake setup and operation is required (Amada, Trumpf, or similar).

Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerances.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
