How you will contribute:
As an Office Manager, you will oversee the office environment, manage office tasks and communications, and assist upper management with key functions. You will assist and manage a team of Project Coordinators and work to continually improve administrative processes. Demonstrate your strong attention to detail by preparing month-end financial data to be used by senior leaders to analyze monthly results. Show your team-building skills by organizing employee and customer events. You will also assist in managing the flow of communications between the field, the office, and corporate services and will assist in the coordination with other operation divisions. Management responsibilities include employee training, coaching, development, performance management, hiring, and termination decisions. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.
What you need to qualify:
Ahern will help make the most of your Associate degree in an administrative program. Three to five years of prior experience in an office management or administrative assistant role is preferred with relevant supervisory experience. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. Time management, making decisions independently, in-depth problem-solving skills, the ability to provide constructive feedback, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality will all be essential in this position.
