We are seeking a skilled and certified Welder/Fabricator to join our team, responsible for performing structural and pipe welding, equipment repairs, and fabrication work in a physically demanding environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work within precise standards, and experience with a variety of welding techniques and tools.
Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding and ensure welds meet certified standards
- Set up and maintain welding machines and oxy-chemocline gas cutting equipment
- Read and interpret welding-specific drawings
- Repair and fabricate equipment using tools such as cutting torches, presses, and hand tools
- Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently
- Use HCSS360 to complete work orders and track payroll time
- Collaborate in a team environment and actively participate in safety meetings
- Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Fabricator Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; vocational training or some college preferred
- AWS D1.1 structural 3G/4G and B2.1 6G pipe certifications required; 1–4G certifications preferred
- 2 years of welding experience with a history of performing heavy manual labor
- Ability to work closely with supervisors and team members on physically demanding tasks
- Skilled in identifying material flaws, troubleshooting equipment, and performing accurate, quality welds
- Knowledge of metals, fuels, and chemicals used in various welding applications
- Experience installing equipment and conducting quality tests and inspections
- Must meet precise standards of accuracy and performance
