Overview:
Perform administrative duties and support activities; coordinate safety training and compile corresponding training materials, requiring excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- General administrative tasks, including Data Entry, Assisting with Scheduling/Setup of Safety Trainings, Answering Phones, effectively communicate with employees, clients and visitors in person, via phone and email, and monitor and control access to the premises.
- Prepare and edit correspondence; maintain spreadsheets; update databases; coordinate and compile data; report, and maintain files.
- Coordinate training schedules; arrange meetings, calendar events, and refreshments for training and meetings.
- Make copies, send faxes, and send documentation via email, snail-mail, and express mail.
- handle confidential documents and use discretion coordinating the logistics of safety training and maintaining training records.
- maintain OSHA 300, 300A & 301 logs along with monthly & quarterly safety statistics.
- Assist in tracking safety training, tools, inventory, and supplies.
- Prepare and distribute weekly safety communications; proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, layout, and edit.
- Serve as an example for other employees to strive towards and foster a culture of respect, integrity, and kindness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership.
- Cross-train in all facets of the Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time.
The person in this role will uphold the culture of J.F. Electric, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on J.F. Electric or client premises or at J.F. Electric sponsored events.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college beneficial.
- 2 years' experience with office or administrative work.
- Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn additional applications..
- able to be a team player, lift/carry items, sit/stand for extended periods of time, use computer/phone for various tasks.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Salary : $19 - $21
