Job Summary
At J&F Facility Services Inc. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, including hotels and commercial spaces. This role requires effective management and leadership abilities to oversee cleaning operations while ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and restrooms, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Manage housekeeping tasks such as laundering linens and towels, ensuring they are clean, fresh, and properly stored.
- Supervise cleaning staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of cleaned areas to ensure compliance with quality standards and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to coordinate cleaning schedules that align with guest check-in and check-out times.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs as necessary.
- Implement best practices in commercial cleaning to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Must meet driving requirements as you will be driving a company car.
Monday thru Friday Full or Part time: start time 4pm end time 12:30am on call occasional weekends $17-$19 to Start depending on experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures in commercial settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
