Loader Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front End Loader Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a proven track record of operating heavy machinery, particularly front end loaders, in various construction environments. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate to perform tasks including loading/unloading trucks, grading, and backfilling.
• Execute site preparation tasks by moving earth and materials as required for construction projects.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating front end loaders in a construction setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with construction site operations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Chantilly, VA 20151 (Required)
