As the Importer of Record, Lumber yard, and Architectural Millwork House we have total quality control throughout the entire supply chain from the forest anywhere in the world all the way to your job site. With centuries of experience, we are a powerful supplier of both domestic and imported, exotic hardwood lumber such as Teak, Sapele, Genuine Mahogany, Black Walnut, and Ipe. J. Gibson McIlvain is more than just materials and with our comprehensive architectural millwork facility, we offer custom millwork services from interior trim and cabinetry to exterior siding, pergolas, and furniture.
As a Lumber Yard Worker you will be working outdoors as part of a fast-paced production environment. The right candidate is open to a variety of physical tasks and duties while performing them safely and efficiently. This person should enjoy working outside, be flexible with the schedule and open minded.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES :
- General labor related work, including keeping Lumber Yard and work areas free of debris
- Assist forklift operators in staging lumber throughout the yard
- Sort and stack lumber as it comes off the grader
- Set sticks between lumber, in preparation for kilns
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Typical Schedule - 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (paid weekly)
